Sankofa Arts & Music Foundation was built on the belief that culture, identity, and community are powerful tools for healing, leadership, and transformation.

The meaning of Sankofa reminds us to go back and retrieve what was lost, forgotten, or left behind. Our work honors the past while helping youth, families, and communities move forward with pride, purpose, and strength.
